PENFIELD, N.Y. -- Penfield High School Senior Jake Paladino is a member of the National Honor Society, the quarterback and two-time captain of the Patriots varsity football team and is a volunteer coach for youth football. He's admired for his work ethic.
“He’s usually the first one at practice and one of the last one’s to get off the field," said Penfield Head Coach Greg Geesler. "He stays extra when he needs to. He’s a leader on and off the field and cares not just about the football program but his community as well.”
“I really like to study physics, math and chemistry. I’m a hard numbers guy," Paladino said. "That’s what I want to study in college too. I just have to make sure I do my homework, and get a good mix of both, where I won’t get too stressed.”
“He’s a tremendous role model. It’s impressive that he’s in the mid-nineties - 93, 94 student. Football’s a great gift that he has, but it’s really going to be his education that will get him where he wants to be and be successful in life," Geesler said.
