Bills Not Looking Ahead to 2014

  • Text size: + -

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Bills made a couple of roster moves on Wednesday.

The Club signed former Kansas City Tight End Tony Moeaki. He suffered a broken shoulder in training camp and was released by the Chiefs in October.

The Bills had room on the roster after releasing running back Tashard Choice on Wednesday. The veteran backup had 471 yards and two touchdowns in two-plus seasons in Buffalo.

Fellow Running Backs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller both wore Choice's #20 as the Bills returned practice Wednesday.

While they're mathematically still in the playoff hunt, that likely went out the door with Sunday's loss in Toronto. But finishing strong, starting with this week in Tampa, is still important.

"We are a team right now that has quite a bit of players coming back, so how we perform and how we move forward is extremely important to building a foundation of how we may start and how we get going next year," said Bills Coach Doug Marrone

"You want to try to build just in case something strange happens and try to go in the offseason with some type of momentum. And I think we'll do that. We've got a great team, we've got a great group of guys," said Bills Running Back C.J. Spiller ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
