Fan favorite Paula Creamer returns to Rochester this week.

In her ninth year on the LPGA tour, she has nine wins to her credit but only one was a major championship, the 2010 U.S. Women's Open.

She traditionally plays well at Locust Hill and knows what it will take this week to win another major.

"I feel good. This golf course is really hard. It's going to be a good test of golf, a lot of patience, a lot of grinding and you know at the end of the round you're going to be pretty tired but I'm really looking forward to it. I love coming back here to Rochester and Locust Hill is by far one of my favorite golf courses. This is a golf course I've played so many times, you know it like the back of your hand but it is set up differently than in the past so you have to take advantage of practicing out of the rough and just certain putts that you tend to get out there," Creamer said.

Wednesday was Pro-Am day at Locust Hill Country Club. Things get serious on Thursday as the Wegmans LPGA Championship begins. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
