"They came everyday to play," says Red Wing Manager Gene Glynn. "It was fun to be around them which doesn't always happen. They got along really well. I think they motivated each other really well. We had a fun second half. We had a little let down three weeks ago but when those games really meant something it helps your drive through August. Even at the end when we dropped out of it, we still wanted to finish over .500 but at least we got that."

"We had fun out there and we do everything for the fans. I think being .500 is good for them and to the front office," says Wilkin Ramirez, Red Wings Outfielder. "Getting to .500, I believe it was a great win for us and for everybody in here.

"It's always good especially in front of a good crowd on a Monday afternoon. That's good to come away with a win for the fans after all they've done for us this whole year in supporting us. We're happy to come away with a win and finish strong and go into the off season on a positive note," explains Red Wings Infielder Brian Dozier.
