Tuesday's rain didn't stop people from going out to the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival.
Tuesday evening's headliner at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre was contemporary jazz quartet Four Play.
Organizers said they expect to deal with some rain over the fest's week-long run.
"After 13 years, we've had rain multiple years off and on, and fortunately for us, what happens is most of the time it rains in the early afternoon or right when the festival is starting and then it clears up, but if it rains we have many indoor venues and actually out on Gibbs Street, the opener state, the music is great, so people bring their umbrellas and hang out," said festival executive director Marc Iacona.
There were also many other free shows too, such as legendary organist Fred Costello, who you may have heard playing before at sports events in Rochester. He performed twice on the Jazz Street Stage.
