The Ontario County woman convicted of killing her husband then dismembering his body was sentenced Wednesday.
Rose Chase killed her husband Adam in June of 2011 by pushing him down a flight of stairs inside their home after a fight. She then hid his body in the basement before dismembering and burning his remains at her mother's property in Yates County.
Chase was sentenced to 23 years to life on the count of second degree murder, and 1 1/3 to four years for tampering with evidence. Those sentences will be conserved consecutively.
The judge also ordered she have no contact with her son.
