The Orleans County Sheriff's Office says it took emergency crews more than two hours to free a man trapped after a crash in Murray.
Police said an SUV lost control on Lynch Road around 10 p.m. Friday. It flipped down a hill and struck a tree.
The driver, Scott Kuhn, 44, of Holley was trapped in the wreck before he could be cut out of the vehicle. He was taken to Strong Hospital in Rochester by helicopter.
His two teenage daughters freed themselves from the crash and were taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Six fire departments helped in the rescue.
Officials say slippery roads and high speeds contributed to the crash.
