Hope Hall is hosting its annual woodworking sale in time for some unique holiday gift ideas.
The school educates students 3rd through 12th grade from 19 school districts.
They were setting up shop at the Mall at Greece Ridge Friday for the three day event.
Hope Hall works to develop the mind, body and spirit of kids who need a non-traditional school setting to succeed.
The woodworking program is one of those creative outlets for students. This weekend is a chance to purchase an item that will in turn support the efforts at Hope Hall.
Hope Hall is a school for kids with auditory processing and learning difficulties that had difficulty making it into other regular education programs.
"The neat part about woodworking program is that it's project base learning. It gives our students a sense of such accomplishment and such esteem when they finish a project because it's hands on. They get to use all the skills. They get to use math skills, science skills. It's all reinforced in the project," said Rick Hopp from Hope Hall.
Hope Hall's Woodworking Sale is at Greece Ridge Mall Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
