A Monroe County jury has convicted Robert Mastowski, 52, of vehicular manslaughter. He was driving drunk when he crashed into and killed a 25-year-old man in Hamlin last year.
In October 2012, police said Mastowski was driving on Brick School House Road in Hamlin and did not yield to the vehicle driven by the victim, Louis Alayon.
Alayon was thrown from the vehicle on impact. His fiancee and now nine-month-old daughter survived the crash.
Mastowski faces five to 15 years in prison at sentencing. Police say he had three prior DWI convictions.
