Fire investigators say a five-year old child playing with a lighter started a house fire on Rochester's east side.
Fire crews went through a second floor window of an Arlington Street home in search of a reported trapped child. Thankfully, both children in the house were taken out of the home before firefighters arrived.
There were working smoke detectors in the home.
The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes, but the house is uninhabitable.
Eight adults and two children are being helped by the Red Cross with housing.
