ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Construction continues as the Frontier Field baseball diamond is transformed into an ice hockey rink.

Rink specialists have begun to place the lines, circles and creases on the rink. They say some of their plans had to be bumped up as the weather forecast calls for rain and sleet.

"The climate is what's killing us a bit with the weather, but once they get the lines marked down, which they did already, the actual hockey lines should be done in a few hours and the logos, since there's seventeen of them, will take another three or four hours," said Dave Dies, Rink Specialists Operations Vice President.

The Amerks will face the Lake Erie Monsters in their regular season outdoor game on Friday, December 13th at 7 p.m.
