ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- More job cuts at Bausch + Lomb.
Parent company, Valeant Pharmaceuticals confirmed to YNN Wednesday that dozens of more people were laid off at several B and L sites but mostly in Rochester.
Sixty-five employees in all were let go, with about fifty of those jobs being here in Rochester.
A Valeant spokeswoman tells us this is part of "ongoing integration work" after the Canadian company bought Bausch and Lomb earlier this year.
The cuts affect people in several departments, including research and development and manufacturing and are based on projects that have been changed or cancelled due to the buy-out.
Management was cut back as well.
Four-hundred B and L jobs were already lost due to the sale to Valeant.
