A Rochester fire truck hit the side of a car at the intersection of Bay Street and Goodman Street Sunday evening.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m.

Firefighters say the engine was responding to a fire at the time.

It was turning east onto Bay Street from Goodman when it hit the car. The truck did have lights and sirens on.

They say a passenger in the car, a 43-year-old Rochester woman, was brought to the Rochester General Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the car was ticked for failure to yield and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

No firefighters were hurt in the incident. Another engine took over the fire call.
