A Rochester city resident was hit and killed by a car on Alexander Street early Sunday morning.
Rochester Police tell us 31-year-old man was crossing Alexander Street around 3 a.m. when he was hit by a car.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they do not believe alcohol to be a factor in regards to the driver and that no charges have been filed.
They say another car may have been involved. The investigation is continuing.
