A violent week in Rochester continues, as another person was shot around 6:30 p.m. Friday on Chili Avenue, west of the Bulls Head neighborhood.
According to Rural/Metro, ambulance crews received a call for a patient at Chili and Hobart. They found the victim about a block away near the intersection with Fillmore Street. He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Rochester Police said the victim was a 33-year-old city resident. Police described his injuries as minor.
About a dozen Rochester Police cars staged in the area. Officers cordoned off traffic, shutting down Chili Avenue while they gathered evidence at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
