A Wayne County grand jury has indicted a Rochester man on first degree murder charges in connection with the July 14 death of a mother and daughter in Sodus.
Wayne County District Attorney Rick Healy says a grand jury indicted Dante Taylor, 32, in the murders of Terri Moulton and her daughter, Stacey, at a home on Route 14 in Sodus. The pair was checking on the home for a friend who was out of town at the time.
Police say Taylor has an extensive criminal history, and served two prison terms for felony attempted robbery and drug charges. He was arrested on a parole violation in the City of Rochester last Thursday.
Taylor remains in the Monroe County Jail. He will be arraigned on the murder charges Wednesday afternoon in Wayne County Court.
