CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. -- A man with a loaded gun in his carry-on bag was stopped by Transportation Security Administration officers at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport Thursday morning.
The TSA said Barry Lang Junior, 48, of Rochester had a .380 caliber handgun loaded with six rounds in his bag when he passed through security.
The FBI confiscated the weapon, and NFTA Police cited him for disorderly conduct.
Lang was allowed to rebook on a later flight without the gun.
The TSA wants to remind travelers that weapons are not permitted in carry-on luggage and can result in up to an $11,000 fine.
