A former executive with Susan G. Komen for the Cure will speak at St. John Fisher College Thursday.
Karen Handel became the focus of Komen's controversial decision to pull funding from Planned Parenthood last year.
The Komen Foundation said it cut breast screening grants because of newly adopted criteria to cut funding to groups that are under investigation as Planned Parenthood was in Congress. The funding was eventually restored.
Handel is expected to weigh in on the pending Reproductive Health Act in New York State when she speaks at Fisher at 7 p.m.
