A tentative agreement has been reached on new labor contract terms between the University of Rochester service workers and administrators.
This comes after four months of collective bargaining between employee and management representatives.
Negotiations began in mid-August for the contract that expired on September 22nd. A federal mediator was brought in and the contract was extended several times.
Union members will vote on the tentative agreement beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday.
Details of the new contract will be released to the public after the ratification vote.
