The Monroe County Sheriff's Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened in Chili around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say a gun-wielding man went into the Kwik Fill gas station on Buffalo Road.
The female store clerk told deputies that the man pointed the gun at her and demanded cash. The suspect then fled in a westerly direction after running out of the store.
The suspect is described as being about five feet nine inches and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black hat during the robbery.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
