Police are investigating an early morning accident in Churchville that killed one person and injured two others.

It happened just before six on I-490. Investigators say an S-U-V with three people inside veered off the roadway and crashed.

Deputies says Caitlyn Sibley, 18 of Greece, was pronounced dead at the scene after being thrown from the vehicle. The driver Sean Bailey, 25 of Rochester, and the back seat passenger Kelley McNeil 19, of Rochester, were taken to Strong Hospital with what deputies called minor injuries.

"The vehicle was going eastbound on 490, went off to the north side of the expressway, tried to overcorrect it and started flipping into the woods," said Scott Flager, Churchville Fire Chief.

490 eastbound near the scene of the accident was shut down for about five hours. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
