Rochester Police arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery Wednesday morning. Police say it happened at the ESL Federal Credit Union on Chestnut Street.
Police say Desmond Barber, 26, was arrested at his Alexander Street home after witnesses identified Barber from bank surveillance photos.
Police say Barber walked into the bank around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and passed a note to the teller demanding cash. Barber then ran off without any money.
He was taken into custody without incident.
