EPA Releases Ground Water Results at Lehigh Valley Site

  • Text size: + -

The Enviromental Protection Agency released the results of a ground water sample taken in December from the Lehigh Valley Railroad Derailment site in LeRoy.

The derailment site was one of many possible causes for more than a dozen teenagers in LeRoy who have developed tic-like symptoms.

The EPA says test results are consistent with previous results from quarterly sampling. They say the results show that the heaviest contamination continues to be at the western end of the plume area.
