Fairport students hoping to head to Ireland nearly two months ago are trying again Monday.
About two dozen students and chaperones were supposed to go to Dublin in late February as a part of an exchange program. Instead, they spent a weekend stranded in airports.
The initial trip was called off after students were stuck at Newark International, missed their connecting flight, and couldn't find other flights to take them abroad.
The group took off Monday morning, meeting at the Rochester International Airport around 5 a.m.
They'll spend a week in Dublin.
