New DNA Procedure Used in Unsolved Murder Case

  • Text size: + -

A murder victim's sister is hopeful a new DNA procedure will help find her brother's killer.

Timothy Milgate was shot and killed in his Greece home in 1995.

Greece police say they are sending evidence from the case to New York City, where it will be analyzed with a new DNA procedure. The new procedure is called high sensitivity, or low template DNA testing.

Milgate's sister, Debbie Moyer, hopes the new procedure will lead to an arrest in the murder.
