A holiday tradition continued down the village streets of Honeoye Falls Saturday night.
Community members gathered to celebrate the sights and sounds of the season.
The annual Honeoye Falls Fire Department Christmas Parade marched down Main Street.
About 30 to 40 different fire departments participated from Monroe, Ontario and
Livingston counties. The fire trucks were decked out and the most creative trucks were given awards.
"It's just something to celebrate the holiday season. The community has always embraced it and stuff like that. So, it's just something everybody really enjoys," said Paul Churnetski, Fire Chief.
The parade also included area school choirs and bands. It has been going for about
15 years and many come from out of town for the event. And at the end of the parade, Santa made a special visit to the fire house.
