Say it low and slow - the Big Rib Barbecue and Blues Fest is back.
Last year, 30,000 people chowed down on barbecue from all over the country. This year, there's more room for music and vendors at Highland Park.
We're talking slow-cooked, tender ribs, pulled pork, and hot dogs for the kids.
Five nationally touring ribmasters will compete for cash and trophies.
“There's some great rib BBQ places in our town, but I think if you come out here and sample the different sauces and preparation styles, you get an idea of what places do around the country,” said Jeff Springut, an organizer.
You can sample ribs from Texas, Memphis and Chicago at the festival, which runs until Sunday night.
