New York State Police are investigating the death of a student at St. Bonaventure University.
The president of the university put out a campus-wide email to students early Sunday morning.
The university said that Matthew Dungan, a sophomore business major from Tonawanda, was pronounced dead at the hospital Sunday morning after students at an off-campus residence discovered him unresponsive and called 911.
University counseling and university ministries staff are assisting students.
The cause of death is under investigation.
