A Rochester man is enjoying his first weekend of freedom. He spent a year and a half in jail on murder charges before his acquittal last week.
A jury found Jamal Dade not guilty of shooting another man to death. Dade was accused of killing Alfred Oliver Jr., 24, on Aberdeen Street in September, 2008.
Police found Oliver inside a van that crashed into a fire hydrant. Investigators say Oliver suffered at least five gunshot wounds.
Dade was released upon his acquittal.
