An Ontario County spray park, closed after an outbreak of cryptosporidium last year, will reopen Saturday.
The health department shut down the spray park at the Seneca Lake State Park in Geneva last August, after hundreds fell ill.
Some of the ill have filed a class action lawsuit against the State Department of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation. Changes have since been made to the Geneva spray park, including an expanded filtration system, and ultra-violet water treatment system.
Once again, that spray park is scheduled to reopen Saturday.
